The True Sunnat
Is about Building Individuals,

Communities, Nations, Societies,
And the Entire World!

Dr. Pasha

Want to know what True Sunnat is? Let us talk.

First of all, Islam is about Action. And Islam is about Thought. Islam, in short, is Everything about Everything.

Those who run around calling Islam a “Religion,” and, on top of that, “Their Religion,” do themselves and the People of the World, and the World of Allah, a great Disservice.

For, they are trumpeting the Message that Islam is no different from anything else in this world. It is a religion, just like all the religions that people have.

And in saying that, they are preventing themselves from understanding the True Nature of Islam

And, at the same time, they are also keeping the People of the World of Allah from ever seriously examining their own beliefs or taking a critical look at Islam and say: Hey, how come this Islam Thing is so totally different from all the stuff we have and everybody else has?

And that is because Islam is a System of Belief and Behavior, Thought and Action, that came directly from God Almighty, and stayed Pure and Perfect to this day.

Totally untouched by Human Hand, as it were.

As a result, there is nothing like Islam in this world.

And that is also why Islam is about Systematic Thinking. Ask Ibrahim, Alaihis Salam, and you would know.

And Islam is about Predictable, Consistent Behavior, both Public and Private.

And Islam is about Deen (Next World) as well as about Duniya (This World)

And it is foolish, counterproductive and plain and simple Un-Islamic to Separate Deen from Duniya — This World from the Next World.

For, Deen is about Implementing Allah’s Laws and Commandments in Duniya. Right here in This World.

At both Individual and Collective levels.

In Personal Lives as well as in entire Societies

And throughout the World.

Deen is not about sitting around, waiting to die so you can go to Jannah. Islam is about doing everything in your power to Make Things Happen, right here in This World, so you can reap the reward of it all in the Next World.

When I say “Things,” I mean All Kinds of the Most Wonderful Things — both for Yourself and for Everybody Else — All Through the World.

That is what Islam is. That is what Islam came to do. And that is precisely what Islam set out to achieve wherever it went.

And that is precisely what Islam did.

If you do not understand this, you never learned the first thing about the Sunnat — Life — of Sayyidina Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam.

Allah sent him to you, personally, to be your Teacher, your Guide and your Exemplar and Role Model.

And what did Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, do in his life?

Of course, he Ate Dates, for, that is what everybody ate in the place and time where he lived.

And of course, he Wore a Turban and Long Robes, for, that is what everybody wore in the time and place where he lived.

And of course, he Rode Camels and Horses, for that is what everybody rode in the time and place where he lived.

But the real question is this: Having eaten his dates, and donned his robes and turban, and ridden his horse and camel, how precisely did he spend his time?

His 24 hours in a given day?

His days and his nights?

For, he also had the same 24 hours in a day at his disposal that we all have today at our disposal. That is Allah’s Immutable Sunnat or Law: In this world, every single human being will have full 24 hours at their disposal, part day and part night, no matter when, and no matter where.

So, just how did he spend those 24 hours?

Doing what?

This is the question that people will not ask or answer.

And that is at the root of all the troubles Muslims are facing in this world. And all troubles that the entire world is facing.

The refusal to ask and answer that question:

What did Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam,
spend his time doing?

Both at Makkah and Madinah?

And here is an answer to this question:

  1. He spent his entire life as Allah’s Prophet, first building, training and nurturing a group of Individual Believers
  1. Then he shaped those Individual Believers into a strong and cohesive Community of Believers.
  1. Then he took this Community of Believers with him to Madinah to build an entire Society and Nation of Believers.
  1. And then, from there, trying to build an Entire New World along the same lines.

He spent 10 years at Makkah trying to build Individual Believers and an ironclad Community of Believers.

Then he spent his final 10 years on earth building a complete Society and Nation of Believers at Madinah.

And then, finally, trying to bring the Whole World in line with the Divine Model of Islam that Allah gave him.

Tell me that was not so!

Now, do you see the Disconnect between what Muslims do and what Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, did?

Between what Muslims do and the True Sunnat of Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam?

And between supposed Muslim Belief and Behavior and True Islam?

Are you still surprised that the Condition of the Muslims today is what it is?

And the Condition of the World Today is what it is?
