The Second Commandment and the Clueless Muslims [Quote - 977]

Alhamdulillah, because of some friends and benefactors of mine, I was able to put down some thoughts on paper on the Second Commandment in the Bible.

And that Commandment, attributed to Musa, Alaihis Salam, in Exodus 20:4-5, I think, reads as follows:

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them." 

Now, please tell me, which part of this blessed Commandment is not as clear as day? And in what way is this Commandment not at the Core of Islam?

I just don't get it.  How clear Islam is. And how lost the world is. And how clueless the Muslims are.

And how the Christian Churches around the world are a Living Monument to the most brazen disregard and violation of this Commandment in broad daylight.

And how totally, totally uninformed, or misinformed, the Christian World is about this Blessed Commandment and how the Christian People are violating that Commandment everyday, in every aspect of their life.

And how indifferent and uncaring the Muslims are to this colossal state of ignorance on the part of our Christian Brothers and Sisters around the world.

All these self-appointed American Muslim leaders, up to their eyebrows in all these Interfaith Dialogues, do you think, at any stage in their dialogues, they see it as their duty to respectfully engage their Christian Brothers and Sisters and Friends on the subject of the Second Commandment?

And, for that matter, on the question of the First Commandment, that simply says: 

Laa Ilaaha Illallah?

"Thou Shalt Take No God Besides God!"

And then everybody wonders what is wrong with the world. 

And why the world is the kind of mess it is.

And why the Muslims are facing the problems they are facing.
