On Being Called a “Christ Denier”

This morning, they called me a Christ Denier.
They recognized me, most likely, as a Muslim. I was in a drug store – a local store for one of the largest National Pharmaceutical Mega-Chains. And they took the opportunity to say I was a Christ Denier.
These are good times to beat up on Muslims – real or suspected. By anyone; for whatever reason.
Should I say: Hallelujah? It would sure fit the situation!
And these are good times for Muslims, if you ask me, as they get beaten up by everybody. For, it is clean-up time for their sins of omission and commission, which are too plentiful to name.
So, the more the Muslims are tormented, and the more they are beaten up and subjected to mental, emotional and physical torture, for no crime they may have committed, the purer they become.
And closer to God Almighty they get. And surer their reservation in Jannat gets!
Maybe Allah will make this an opportunity for errant, feeble and wayward Muslims to find their way back to Islam – and back to Jesus Christ, the Messiah and Allah’s Rasul, Alaihis Salaatu Was Salaam!
For, the path to “Islam” passes through Jesus Christ, Alaihis Salaam!
And through all the other Prophets and Messengers of God, Alaihim Assalaam!
Aamanar Rasoolu Bi-Maa Unzila Ilaihi Min Rabbihee,
Wal Mu’minoon.
Kullun Aamana Billahi,
Wa Malaa-ikatihee,
Wa Kutubihee,
Wa Rusulihee!
Each and every single one of them!
And we, as Muslims and Believers, make absolutely no difference or distinction among them.
Laa Nufarriqu Bayina Ahadin Min Rusulihee.
No better or more comprehensive model for the unity and integration of the Fabric of Believers was ever created on this earth. Nor is it possible for anyone to design or formulate a better one.
This particular one is from God Almighty himself. He is the only one who could do it. No human being can. No organization or agency can.
No Interfaith mechanism or rhetoric can.
The Arabic Text is directly from the Qur’an. It is not human speech. It is not about Muslims posturing and pretending to be Good People to avoid being beaten up by others.
Or to get in the Good Graces of others. And pick up whatever Worldly Perks they can by doing that.
Including possibly an invitation to a White House Iftaar Dinner -- if there is one again!
Making gratuitous pronouncements to the world that Islam is a "Peaceful Religion."
Or in the interest of what fellows have been calling lately Interfaith Dialogue.
Instead, this is pure Wah’y: Divine Revelation – in the Qur’an: no less than 1400 years on this earth!
And this is God’s Own Model for Inter-Faith interaction, comity, cooperation and coexistence of the best and truest kind.
So, did I feel insulted, attacked, humiliated, outraged this morning – that they called me a Christ Denier?
Allahu Akbar, absolutely not!
But I should hasten to add Alhamdulillah! Should I not? That they had to use the name of Nabiy Isa, Alaihis Salam, to insult me, in their view, and to take out their frustration!
What a rare honor indeed!
It is amazing how the mission of Isa, Alaihis Salam, continues even when he is not physically among us!
Even as we, as Muslims, eagerly await his return.
And the Qur’an continues to expand on its Divine Model of Inter-Faith Dialogue and Relationship and Co-operation.
It says the only thing that it is logically and fairly and honestly possible for anyone to say, while doing full justice to all sides.
The Qur'an says:
Anyone who thinks or claims they have any connection or relationship to God; and anyone who thinks or claims they have any divine revelation of any kind as basis for such a relationship; let us all come together and agree on the lowest and most minimum common denominator among us.
Let us all agree that we shall all unite and cooperate on the basis of the First Commandment in the Bible – given by Moses, Alaihis Salam, and cherished and affirmed by Jesus, Alaihis Salam:
Thou Shalt Take No God Besides God!
The language of the Qur’an that offers this open and public deal to all of humanity in general – and in particular to the Jews and Christians at all times and in all places – is as follows:
Qul:
Yaa Ahlal Kitaabi,
Ta’aalawu,
Ilaa Kalimatin Sawaa-in
Bayinanaa wa Bayinakum,
An Laa Na’buda Illaa Allah!
Wa Laa Nushirka Bihee Shayi-aa!
Is there a better model for love and peace among peoples and nations ever laid out on this earth?
And is one possible or conceivable outside this Divine Framework?
Hallelujah!
And Allahu Akbar and Alhamdulillah!
