Let Us Cut to the Chase

Want to be a Muslim? Just say “No!”

That is it!

Say: “No God but God!”

Or say it the way Moses said it in the Old Testament:

“No God besides God!”

Or join Jesus and say it the way Jesus said it in the New Testament:

“No God besides God!”

Or say it in God’s own words in original Arabic in the Qur’an that came to us through Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam:

“Laa Ilaaha Illaa Allah – No God but God!”

Feel it in your heart!

Believe it in your mind!

Utter it with your tongue!

Voila! You are a Muslim now!!

God bless you. For, you have now become a professional “Blesser” of the world.

Remember the “Quakers” and the “Shakers” and all the others? Well, you have now become a Blesser.

Nothing less!

For, that is what it means to be a Muslim: A Blesser!

For, that is what you will be doing for the rest of your life: Blessing Everyone Everywhere – left, right and center.

Welcome home Muslim! Welcome home – where you belong!

Rejoice!

Celebrate!

For, you are now one with the rest of God’s creation – the sun; the moon; the skies with all their shining stars!

And you are now one with everything else in the world like the land; the water; the oceans; the beasts; the birds; the fish; the trees; whatever else.

You are one with all of them in accepting God as your master and submitting to him.

And in singing his praises and his glory.

They are all a part of your family now.

They now are your truly global community– scattered in all parts of the universe.

You are now a Muslim – The One Who Submits!

Just like the rest of the universe. For, everything in the universe submits to God.

They all submit.

And just like every muscle and sinew in your own body. They all submit too.

And now so do you.

Now you submit too.

So far, they were all Muslim, you were not. And now, you have become one too.

You are now in perfect sync, harmony and balance with the rest of the universe, with the rest of God’s creation.

You have now become the one who embraces and exudes peace and love, joy and optimism, forgiveness and compassion!

Like the rest of the universe.

Who would have thought the path to peace – and to salvation and eternal bliss – would be that easy?

And the divine message of Islam would be that much within everyone’s easy reach!
