Muslims Checking on Muslims — and Non-Muslims [Quote – 1009]

Published Categorised as Quote-Unquote, Quote-Unquote – Book XI (1001-1100)

Muslims are the guardians and custodians of the world. So appointed, ordained and mandated by God Almighty.

Innee Jaa’ilun Fil Ardi Khalifah, God says in the Qur’an.

When a plague like Coronavirus comes calling, Muslims must rise to perform their social and moral duty with greater vigilance and alacrity than ever before.

They must call and check on other Muslims, regardless of whether or not they are their family or friends.

And they must also check on their Muslim as well as non-Muslim neighbors to see what help or advice they may need.

And Muslims must provide such advice, comfort, aid and help to their Muslim and non-Muslim neighbors as they are able to.

It was for this reason that Allah created them and made them Muslim. It was their failure to perform their duty as Muslim that has led to some of the problems the world is facing today.
