To Do Something Good, and Nice, and Noble!

Muslims As Well As Non-Muslims –
To Join Hands to Read the Qur'an Together!

And to Save the World!

Dr. Pasha

(Bringing Islam to the World One Concept at a Time!
Taking the Qur'an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It --
And which One Does Not?)

Muslim & Non-Muslim:
United by a Common Drop of Adam’s Blood!

The idea here is to get people from around the world – Muslim as well as non-Muslim – to co-operate and to get involved in reading the Qur'an: together!

United in a spirit of shared brotherhood and sisterhood by their common human bond.

Unbreakably and inseparably tied together by that single common drop of Adam’s blood.

And do these noble readings on their own individual pace. Without rush and without pressure of any kind – except their own individual motivations to please God.

And to do something good and nice and noble together.

In a world which has invented and which has found so many ways to sunder human beings apart, and turn them against each other – for its own nefarious purposes and for its own selfish gains.

Even If It Is Just One Letter – a Day

So, say No to the naysayers. Say No to the Dividers-and-Conquerors and decide to link hands and work together. Tap into your Common Humanity – and make a beginning – by reading the Qur’an together.

Even if some of you can read only an aayat or two – a day.

And even if some of you have to start out – make a beginning – by learning One Individual Letter at a time.

Such as Alif!

Or Laam!

Or Meem!

This, in fact, is a paraphrase – and an extrapolation – from the words of Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam.

Your Intentions Count!

But the point is, you make the intention and join the pack. Join the race to God.

In Islam, intentions have a great deal to do with actions.

As the Hadith Sharif says:

Innamal A'amaalu Binniyyaat!

So, decide that you will participate in this collective endeavor – and this most noble venture of its kind – and then see what happens.

And make the intention to read the Qur’an together.

You and Your God

Should I say: Allah will take it up from there?

But, then, when was it that Allah was not in charge of everything that was going on – in his world? What thing can ever be done in this world without Allah being there?

Without Allah being the beginning, the end and the middle?

Again, paraphrasing the Qur'an – Surah Al-Hadeed:

Huwal Awwalu Wal Aakhiru, Waz Zaahiru Wal Baatinu.

And is there anything that exists or takes place in this world of which God Almighty is not fully aware and knowledgeable – at all times? And at all stages of the life of that thing – from inception to end?

As the same most miraculous Aayat of the Qur’an continues and says:

Wa Huwa Bi-Kulli Shaiy-in Aleem!

Paraphrase:

And there is not a thing he does not know.

Muslims & Non-Muslims:
Work on a Joint Venture of Goodness – Together!

This way, we will have a group of Muslims – as many Muslims as possible, from as many places around the world as possible, and at the same time, as many non-Muslims as possible from as many societies and cultural background and geographic locations as possible – reading God’s Own Word, the Qur'an, together – in sync – all over the world.

What blessings or reward there will be in this effort, I do not know. But the point is to bring as many of God’s Children – God’s Family – as possible on a shared platform of joint action.

And to coordinate at least some of our readings of the Qur’an in some form or fashion.

God Almighty Wants Us to Co-Operate –
In Good Things

And Allah likes collective action in good things. And he wants us human beings to co-operate – and to work together – in all things that are good, nice and noble.

The Aayat says it all:

Ta-aawanoo Alal Birri Wat-Taqwaa.

Paraphrase:

When it comes to good things, try and work together (5:2).

Go check out that aayat in the Qur’an. It is chapter 5, passage 2.

This Aayat will show you as clearly as anything how God’s word is different from anything else.

And you will see with your own bare eyes that there is nothing like it – like this most noble and glorious aayat or passage of the Qur’an – in the whole world.

A Global Human Community of Love

This is creating a global Jama'at – a truly Global Human Community bonded together through the divine notions of Love, and Mercy and Caring.

A truly Human Community of Mercy, arising out of the Universal Message of Mercy delivered by a man whom God Almighty sent into this world as a Personification of Mercy to All the Worlds: Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam.

As the Qur’an puts it – in Surah Al-Anbiyaa, right?

Wa Maa Arsalnaaka Illaa Rahmatan Lil-Aalameen (21:107).

Creating a Human Community in a Digital World

This is creating a true Human Community in a Digital World – a world saturated by the Internet. Should I say “dominated” by the Internet?

It is putting the Internet to good use.

It is using the Internet for Allah – one way of doing it.

Allah – not just the true creator of the Internet, but the creator of all those humans who may have played a role in any form or fashion in the creation of the Internet, from any culture or community around the world, and from the inception of time until now.

God’s Own Words

Everybody reading the Qur’an together – Muslims and non-Muslims, alike, co-operating and joining hands in an act all of which is good and noble and decent and nice.

Listen to God’s own words on the subject of people – all human beings everywhere – working together and cooperating in all things that are good and nice and noble and decent:

Ta-aawanoo Alal Birri Wat-Taqwaa! (5:2).

Saving the World by Turning to God’s Word on Earth

Who knows if this will not save God's earth from perishing? Who can tell if this one small gesture of goodness on the part of all of us – Muslim and non-Muslim alike – will not reverse what scientists are calling Climate Change and save the world?

So, everyone everywhere, let us all join hands and read the Qur'an together.

Qur’an Is in Arabic –
And Transliterations Are Haraam: Forbidden!

Don’t forget, the Qur’an is in Arabic.

So, make sure you read the Qur'an in its original Arabic Script. And not in Transliteration.

Transliteration means writing the Qur’an in some other script such as Roman-Greek-Latin that most of Europe uses.

Or Cyrillic Script that Russia uses and the Slavic people in general use.

Or Devanagari Script that is used in Sanskrit and Hindi and by many Indian people.

Or Tamil Script that many people of Dravidian Origin in South India use.

Or Sino-Japanese Script using mostly Hiragana and Katakana language systems.

Problems with Transliterations

Transliterations are Haraam when they are used as substitutes for learning to read the Qur'an in the original Arabic Script.

And when Transliterations are used as convenient and handy tools to keep people from learning the script of the Qur'an.

And to keep people from teaching each other the language and script of the Qur’an.

Lost Divine Books --
And The Lost Languages of Divine Books

This is how the earlier books of Allah were lost, and this is how they disappeared from this earth. Their scripts and their languages – their very homes – were irretrievably lost and destroyed.

The true teachings, and the true and original character of those Lost Divine Books, is now guarded and preserved by God’s Final Book the Qur’an.

If the Qur’an weren’t there, no one will ever know what it was that those Lost Divine Books ever contained or preached.

Qur’an’s Sentinel Duty over Lost Divine Books

Allah sent the Qur’an in part to validate and confirm the original teachings of those Lost Divine Books. And to protect them and to stand guard over them – to do sentinel duty over them as it were.

That is what the Qur’an came into this world to do. Read the Qur’an and you will know. Read Surah al-Maa-idah, Aayah 48:

Wa Anzalnaa Ilayikal Kitaaba Bil-Haqqi,
Musaddiqan Limaa Bayina Yadaihi Minal Kitaabi,
Wa Muhayiminan Alaihi. (5:48)

Paraphrase:

And we sent down the Book to you with Truth,
Confirming and validating the Books that were sent down earlier,
And to perform Guard Duty over it all.

So, people, you heard it – right from God and from the Qur’an.

Question of Reality – Truth

It is not a question of which language is holy or unholy, superior or inferior, better or worse. It is more a question of reality – truth.

And the reality is that God Almighty chose to use Arabic for Qur'an.

And – do understand this clearly because this is important – God Almighty not only took away all other Divine Books in their original language, books that came before the Qur'an. He also allowed the very languages of those books to atrophy over time and to disappear from the face of this earth.

God’s Master Plan for Humanity

This is not an accident. This is all part of God's Master Plan for Humanity.

This is to make sure that you – all of you Human Beings out there, and not just "Muslims" – will have untrammeled and unhindered and direct access to God's pure and perfect word in this world.

Until the end of time.

Read God’s Word in God’s Own Words

Therefore, all of you Muslims and non-Muslims out there, wherever you are, try and learn to read God's word in his own words.

It is a miracle that we have the Qur'an in our hands today. It is the only real thing in the world.

And it is God’s doing, and it is no credit to any human being, Muslim or non-Muslim.

The world has nothing real or original in it. But the Qur'an is real. And the Qur’an is the original thing.

Do not corrupt the Qur’an by using Transliteration to read it.

People: Do not run from God and his Spoken Word in the Qur’an and seek refuge in Transliteration.

Transliterations, when used as substitutes for Qur’an are Satanic Devices to keep Adam's Children from ever connecting with God and his word, the Qur'an. So, avoid them like the plague.
