Dr. Pasha Calls for Grand Global Khatm-a-Day for Ramadan 1434
Dr. Pasha has issued a call to Muslims around the world – in every single Mohalla and every single Community, in every part of the world – to get organized from now on to be able to do a Grand Global Khatm-a-Day for next Ramadan, 1434, Inshallah, on a world-wide basis.
And here, he says, is how Muslim communities everywhere, in all parts of the world, should be able to do it:
The first step, Dr. Pasha says, is for Muslims in all parts of the world, to start identifying and lining up groups of 30-60 people everywhere: in every community, all around the world.
Appoint an Amir or leader for every 10 people and an overall Amir Halqwah for the entire group in the region.
These are all people who should be able to read the Qur’an Naazwirah – from the original Arabic text in the Muswhaf.
The target, says Dr. Pasha, should be for each one of them to be able to read one Juz – one-thirtieth part of the Qur’an – in roughly one-hour time.
This way, they should be able to spend one hour a day reading the Qur’an.
Thus, 30 people each one of them reading one Juz a day, will be able to finish the complete Qur’an each day, every day. For, the Qur’an is divided in 30 Juz or parts – Ajzaa’.
Dr. Pasha says this will make it one complete Khatm Sharif every day.
“It will make for a total of 30 or 29 Khatm Sharif for the full month of Ramadan 1434 – and every Ramadan thereafter,” says Dr. Pasha, “Should that be the wish of Almighty Allah.”
Dr. Pasha says that this plan carries extraordinary benefits for all the individuals involved in carrying out the plan. For, this way, each individual reader will be able to do a complete Khatm of the Qur’an on their own for the duration of the month of Ramadan.
And they can repeat this individual Khatm for themselves each and every Ramadan thereafter for as long as they live.
This is something any Muslim would look forward to doing but most people in the world are not able to accomplish. In part that is because no one has asked them to do it and because there is a certain lack of leadership among Muslims in this regard.
According to Dr. Pasha, “Who in the world can calculate the worldly, or other worldly, benefits of this Grand Global Khatm Sharif – for all of us, Muslim as well as non-Muslim, and for the rest of the world?”
In communities, where 30 people are not available who are comfortable reading and completing a Juz in one hour, number of readers should be doubled to 60 – or to any number of readers the community can easily manage.
“That way,” says Dr. Pasha, “60 people will read one half Juz each, instead of each person reading one full Juz. And they should be able to do this – the half Juz – from 30 minutes to one hour.”
Thus, Muslims will be able to do at least one Khatm Sharif a day in each community all around the world – in as many communities as possible – for the entire month of Ramadan 1434.
Each community – group of readers – will, thus, be able to do 29 or 30 Khatm for the duration of Ramadan, depending on the number of days Ramadan 1434 has.
And every Ramadan thereafter – forever and ever, Bi-idhnillah! – should Allah permit that.
Dr. Pasha says that this will usher in a new Age of the Qur’an around the world. It will fill the world of Allah everywhere with the sound of the words of the Qur’an.
“Immense blessings will flow out of this noble event – Global and Multiple Khatm of the Qur’an,” says Dr. Pasha, “and saturate the entire planet earth with untold bounties from God Almighty for all its inhabitants – Muslim and non-Muslim; animal, plant and other.”
“It will also be a very effective remedy and a very fitting, proper and timely counter” says Dr. Pasha, “to the many ills, ailments and problems that the earth and the environment face today such as hunger, disease, poverty, wars, pollution and global warming.”
Therefore, keeping all this in mind, Muslims everywhere must start looking for readers of the Qur’an for next Ramadan (1434) right from now, says Dr. Pasha.
“Muslims around the world must also start training people to be able to become good Qur’an readers by the time Ramadan 1434 rolls in,” says Dr. Pasha.
Dr. Pasha further points out that there must be no distinction of age and gender in recruiting and training the readers for the daily Khatm Sharif of Ramadan 1434.
“I hope Muslims everywhere will heed this call” says Dr. Pasha, “and start getting organized for the Grand Global Khatm Sharif of Ramadan 1434 – and beyond.”
Dr. Pasha says that each group and each community of readers, wherever they happen to be, must work out the specifics and details of this plan how best suits their conditions and situations.
May Allah make this wish and this prayer come true!
And may Muslims around the world embrace this suggestion and this proposal and get organized to put it into practice!
