Bill Clinton to American Muslims:
Get the Hell Out of America!
(Bringing Islam to the World One Concept at a Time!
Taking the Qur’an to Every Home and Heart that Needs It —
And which One Does Not?)
Donald Trump, the Republican Presidential Nominee, does not want you to come in. That is, if you are a Muslim.
Former President Bill Clinton, husband to Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton, doesn’t want you to stay. That is, also, if you are a Muslim.
So, Muslims have it both ways now. And so does America. It is decision time for both.
Let me explain.
The 2016 Democratic National Convention was held in Philadelphia, July 25- 28, 2016.
The Convention elected Hillary Clinton, former First Lady, New York Senator and Secretary of State, as the Democratic Party nominee for president by about 60 percent of the delegates present.
Among the major speakers at the Convention was Hillary Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton.
Among the things Bill Clinton addressed in his speech was the topic of Muslims and their role and place in America.
And here is what Bill Clinton said addressing the Muslims of America:
“If you’re a Moslem, and you love America, and you love freedom, and hate terror, stay here and help us win, and help us make a future together.
We want you.”
Here is my translation, in plain American English, of this extraordinary display of Clinton-Speak.
“If you don’t, I mean if you don’t love America; and if you don’t love freedom; and if you don’t hate terror, then, Muslims, get the hell out of America. The faster the better.
For, we don’t want you here. And we certainly don’t need you!”
In other words, go back to wherever the hell you came from. Even if you came from San Francisco, Cleveland or Philadelphia.
For, you don’t have a future in America.
No, I am not really adding any elaborate comments or analysis or reaction to what President Clinton said.
I am merely providing a paraphrase of Clinton’s statement, so even Muslims – across all their stripes and levels of intelligence and integrity – understand fairly clearly what it was the former president was trying to tell them.
Coincidentally, the city of Philadelphia also held another major convention, this one nearly 230 years ago.
In that other convention, generally known as the Constitutional Convention, America signed something called the Constitution of the United States of America, a remarkable document by any measure.
And that document, I am sure, has some very pointed things to say about American Citizenry and its rights, inalienable and otherwise.
This election cycle, the choice before Muslims – and before America – is stark.
It is between Donald Trump of the Republican Party who in effect says to world Muslims: Stay the Hell Out of America!
And between Bill Clinton of the Democratic Party who seems to be saying to American Muslims: Get the Hell Out of America!
Make up your mind, Muslims!
And make up your mind, America!
You are nicely sandwiched between a rock and a hard place.
