Arabic Is the Rope of Allah?
Arabic Is the Rope of Allah?
Dr. Pasha
In the Qur'an, Allah calls it Rope of Allah: Hablullah. And asks us to hold on to it with all the strength and firmness we can manage.
Wa'tasimoo Bi-Hablillah!
And tells us to do so All Together, and not with all kinds of individuals and groups running off hither and thither and going their own separate ways.
Wa'tasimoo Bi-Hablillahi Jamee'an
Wa Laa Tafarraqoo!
But then what exactly is this Rope of Allah that Allah talks about in the Qur'an?
Is it the Qur'an itself?
Is it the Deen of Islam?
Is it the Shari'at of Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam?
Is it the Jama'at of the Believers -- the Mainstream Muslims?
Or is it the Arabic Language, the Language of the Qur'an?
The Language that Allah himself chose in which to speak to his Last and Final and Most Complete Messenger Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam?
The Language that was the native language of Allah's Rasul, Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam?
And of his Companions?
And of the First Generation of Islam?
The Language in which Allah's Rasul, Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, spoke to his Blessed Companions?
And to his Blessed Family?
The Language, which is Home to Hadith?
Meaning, the Language in which the thoughts, words, actions and pronouncements of Allah's Rasul, Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, are recorded, protected and preserved for All of Humanity until Judgment Day?
And the Language that Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, says will be the Language of the People of Jannat?
Which means, not only will this Most Blessed Language Arabic -- the Language of the Qur'an and Hadith Sharif -- will survive and flourish for as long as the world lasts, but will also survive the Human Race on Earth, and the Entire World, and continue to be the Lingua Franca of the People of Jannat, after the whole World is destroyed and resurrected?
The Language in which the People of Jannat will be singing their Everlasting National Anthem, as it were:
Wa Aakhiru Da'waahum Anil-Hamdu Lillahi
Rabbil 'Aalameen!
And:
Alhamdu Lillahil-Ladhee Hadaanaa Li-Haadhaa,
Wa Maa Kunna Li-Nahtadiya Lawu Laa An
Hadaanallah!
Or is it All of the Above?
So, people, no matter how you look at it, Arabic Language is what it is all about. You learn it and hold on to it, you acquire a Passport and Ticket to Jannat, provided you do it with the Right Motivation.
You ignore it, or let it slip out of your hands, or learn and master and use it with wrong or questionable motivation, then you pave your way to Jahannam, where some other Native Speakers and Masters of Arabic Language like Abu Jahl and Abu Lahab will reside and face Eternal Damnation and Torment.
Along with their Master and Friend Iblis the Shaitan.
