An Invitation to Believers to Work to Together in Good Things

Assalamu Alaikum,

Dear brothers and sisters:

One Divine Formula for Humanity to get ahead in life in this world is for Good People to Work Together in all Good Things.

You have been on my mind for a long time. In fact, in a sense, way before you even started your organization.

Actually, you have at one time used one of my pamphlets titled You Must Know This Man. This was produced at a time when the need for something like this pamphlet was dire and the availability of this kind of material to give to non-Muslims was scarce.

I don't know if you still use You Must Know This Man in your work to reach out to non-Muslims or not. But it is a useful introductory tool for making Islam known to non-Muslims, or even to Muslims who may have lost touch with Islam. 

And it has been so for a long time, quite likely from way before many of you were born.

Allah's blessings, that little pamphlet, Masha Allah, has spread all over the world, in the nearly 50 years since I first wrote it, and, I understand, it has been translated in nearly 50 languages.

But right now, some of us have been able, with the help of Allah, to generate many more articles and booklets and pamphlets of that kind for use by both non-Muslim as well as Muslim audiences. 

And we would love to share those books and booklets with all of you in your group and make them available to you for use in your work completely free of cost. 

We do that because we have held the view that sharing Islam with non-Muslims in America should be the topmost priority of American Muslims. Over and above everything else. And we have, in our own way, worked toward that goal tirelessly all these years.

I hope to hear from you very soon and be able to provide you the literature that has been painstakingly produced for that purpose over the past so many years. Using nothing but the Qur'an and Hadith as our main sources and references.

May Allah open the hearts and minds of all us for his Deen and give us all the Towufeeq and good sense to work with each other to Take Allah's Book, the Qur'an, to Every Home and Heart that Needs It -- And Which One Does Not?

I am writing this note of invitation to you to work together keeping Allah's command in mind that explicitly orders Believers to work together in all good things.

In Surah Al-Maa-idah, which is Chapter 5, in Aaayat Karimah 2, in the Qur'an Karim, Allah says:

Yaa Ayyuhalladheena Aamanoo,

.................................................

Wa Ta'aawanoo Alal Birri wat Taqwaa! (5:2)

Paraphrase of the Aayat:

"Believers!

...............

Cooperate and Work together in all good things." (5:2)
