A Message for Eidul Adha – Festival of Sacrifice:
What Are You Sacrificing? [Quote - 907]

Published Categorised as Quote-Unquote, Quote-Unquote – Book X (901-1000)

My message for Eidul Ad-haa is a simple one. And it does not matter what year we are talking about.

When Muslims and their small and big leaders proceed to slaughter and sacrifice their camels, sheep, goats and cows, I suggest they ask the following question of themselves:

To what extent are they sacrificing these animals at the altar of God Almighty, and to what extent are they sacrificing Islam and Muslims, and the overall wellbeing of God’s Creation, at the altar of their own egos; selfishness; greed; corruption; politics; ambition; and sell-out to the Devil and his human minions and agents, both in their own ranks as well as from alien faiths and foreign lands?

Read Aayat Karimah:

Lan Yanaalallaha Luhoomuhaa wa Laa Dimaa-uhaa
Wa Laakin Yanaaluhut Taqwaa Minkum.

Paraphrase:

“It is not the blood and bones of the sacrificial animals that God cares about, but the true state of your own hearts: whether or not you care about God more than you care about all else.”
